CLASSES WE OFFER
FREE class offered once each month taught by an experienced yoga teacher to provide the new student with a general overview of foundational poses and yoga etiquette. Time is given for Q & A to provide you with a better understanding of what type of yoga would be best for you.
Come prepared to release your stress and find your inner bliss. This class uses props like bolsters, blankets and blocks to support you in luxuriously long holds intended to calm down your central nervous system, lower your heart rate and leave you feeling relaxed. This class is appropriate for beginners all the way to advanced yogis.
HEAL YOUR BACK
This therapeutic practice is designed to promote healing and strengthening of the back. Come learn gentle movements to release sciatic tension and stabilizing postures that help promote strength in the back body. This class is appropriate for all levels.
Long holds influence the bodies meridians and strive to deeply open the hips, pelvis and spine to create space in the joints and nourish the connective tissues. The work in these deceptively challenging poses is finding the ease in the discomfort that arises and a meditative awareness of the sensations as they come and go. This class is appropriate for all levels.
This Level 1/2 class focuses on alignment, breath awareness and attention to movement cultivating a balanced practice. Come prepared to learn how to move your body skillfully and safely on the mat. The teacher offers modifications for the newer and advanced yogi.
This Level 2 Vinyasa style class with fun music challenges your strength and endurance by practicing more advanced postures such as arm balances, inversions and backbends. Your heart rate will go up with plenty of sun salutations too! Previous yoga experience is recommended.
Come get strong in mat pilates with our certified and experienced Pilates teacher. These low impact classes focus on core stability, postural alignment, controlled movement, breathing and flexibility. Appropriate for All Levels.
Improve muscle control and fluidity while toning the core, encouraging good posture, and gaining body confidence. In this class you will learn the basic movements and isolations of bellydance. Have fun and discover muscles you never knew you had! No previous dance experience necessary.
